Shonda Rhimes is the genius behind ABC?s ?Scandal,? the popular drama airing Thursday nights at 10P|9C on ABC. Kerry Washington plays Olivia Pope, the powerful yet vulnerable head of a crisis management firm. Washington?s role is legendary as she is the first black woman in 38 years to play the lead in a primetime television drama.
